Eyebrow Trends for 2017

Fashion month is now over and in New York, Paris, London, and Milan, one thing was clear that the brows is going natural. The ultra-defined eyebrows that have been popular across social media for the past couple of years are no longer on trend.
The backlash to what top makeup artists are calling the harsh-in-real-life “Instagram brow” has begun, and most designers sent their models out on the runway with soft, feminine and a with an natural brows
I know what you are thinking – that’s ok if you are Cara Delevingne or Taylor Hill (look up Taylor Hill!). For many women, filling in their eyebrows to at least some degree is one of, if not the most important part of their makeup routine. Facial experts say that, next to teeth, eyebrows are our most important facial feature. Brows frame the face, add expression, and highlight your best features.
Yet many of us do not have our dream brows, and instead have sparse, thin or patchy hairs – whether it’s from illness, or simply over plucking as a teenager (we all did it in the ‘90s.)
That’s why eyebrow embroidery is such an amazing semi-permanent makeup procedure – the microblading technique delivers the tiniest, most natural looking hair strokes. It is so precise that the final result can be tailored to you, so if you want a soft natural look, that’s what you get.
If you do want something more defined, I can combine the technique of eyebrow embroidery with that of powder brow – this gives a more defined “makeup” look.
Whichever you choose, don’t forget – life is a catwalk. I hope you enjoyed our blog on eyebrow catwalk trends. Please feel free to comment underneath.
